How to plant your sunflower seeds.

You might need adults help with this one.

Firstly, remember to sow your seeds outside in the soil. Create a hole 1.5cm deep and open your packet then place one or two seeds in. Leave a 30cm gap before planting another one or two.

Cover these with soil and you could even place a lolly pop stick next to your seed.

Water your sunflower regularly and watch it grow taller and taller. If it starts drooping, it might need a stalk for support.

TIPS- You could leave the dead flower heads out for birds or even dormice in the autumn.
